Auf KEVINS' Wunsch hin haben wir uns entschlossen, Euch allen doch mal unser - naja fast fertig - eingerichtetes Zuhause zu zeigen!!
Dieses Foto hier kennt ihr ja bereits. Es ist die Vorderseite unserer Doppelhaushaelfte (Duplex). Der Eingang befindet sich genau zwischen diesen beiden Fenstern - seitlich.

Kevin, Gabriel's friend in Germany asked for pictures from the house. So today we want to show you how our place looks like. It's not done yet but it gives you an idea how it is.
This photo you already know. It shows the front of our duplex home. The entrance is right between those two windows.

Dies ist der Anblick der sich einem bietet, wenn man ins Haus kommt. Man steht sozusagen gleich vor unserem Esstisch und im Wohnzimmer - dem Herzen des ganzen Hauses wie ich zu sagen pflege.
Im Hintergrund ist bereits die Kueche zu erahnen.

This is what you see when you come into the house. You are standing right in front of our dining table and in the living room - the heart of our home as I call it. In the back you can guess where the kitchen is.

Der Blick von der Couch in Richtung Eingangstuere, die sich gleich rechts neben dem Fenster befindet. Ihr seht, unser Schrank hat hier auch seinen Platz gefunden, worueber wir sehr gluecklich sind. Im Wohnzimmer gibt es zusaetzlich zwei Einbauschraenke, die man auf den Fotos nicht so gut sehen kann. Diese sind super praktisch.

This is the view sitting on the couch facing the entrance which is right next to the window. As you can see our big cupboard found a place here. This made us very happy. In the living room we also have two closets which you can't see very well on the photos. Those are very practical.

Dies ist der Blick aus dem Flur zu den Kinderzimmern. Wie man sieht, es hat alles gerade so ins Zimmer gepasst aber wir finden es sehr gemuetlich und fuehlen uns jetzt erst recht wohl hier.

This shows you part of the living room looking right from the direction of the hall to the kids rooms. As you can see we made everything fit and we really like it and feel very comfortable here.

Dies ist ein Blick in die Kueche. Links bevor wir eingezogen sind:) und rechts der derzeitige fast zustand!! Die kleine Fruehstuecksbar ist meist mit anderen Sachen vollgestopft. Ob wir hier jemals fruehstuecken werden bleibt offen:).

This is the view to into the kitchen. On the left before we moved in:) on the right how it looks right now!! The small breakfast corner is usually packed with other stuff. If we will ever have breakfast here....who knows:)!

Dies ist ein Blick in die Kinderzimmer. Links Klara's. Die Matratze ist fuer Mama, da die Naechte nach wie vor sehr anstrengend sind und der Weg aus dem Schlafzimmer im Keller hier hoch ist ab 4.00 morgens ziemlich schwer.
Rechts seht ihr Gabriels Zimmer. Er hat sein Hochbett aufstellen koennen und hat es sehr gemuetlich. Beide Zimmer haben Wandschraenke, wobei Gabe den groessten hat.

These are the kids rooms. On the left Klara's room. The mattress is for Mama because the nights are still hard and busy and it's hard to come upstairs at 4.00.
On the right is Gabriel's room. He was able to set up his high bed and has it really comfortable in here. Both rooms have closets. Gabe has the biggest.

Dies ist ein Blick in das Badezimmer der Kinder. Klein aber fein und derzeit das Familienbadezimmer, da unseres im Keller noch nicht ganz bezugsfertig ist. Geht eben alles nicht sofort und immer nur Schritt fuer Schritt.

This is the kids bathroom. Small but nice. And right now it's the family bathroom because ours in the basement ain't done yet. One thing gets done after another and it will take a while until we got it all set up.

Dies ist ein Foto mit der Treppe zum Keller hin. Die Tuere die man hier sieht fuehrt in den Garten bzw auf die Wiese hinter dem Haus. Unten links geht es dann in das Elternschlafzimmer, das wir derzeit noch nicht veroeffentlichen koennen, da es wirklich wuest aussieht. Aber wenigstens hat Duane das Bett aufgestellt. Diese Treppen sind es auch, die mich dann morgens um 4 Uhr die Luftmatratze bevorzugen lassen:). Durch unser Schlafzimmer durch kommt man in das Bad und von dort auch in den Keller mit Waschmaschine und Trockner UND mit wahnsinnig vielem was noch auszupacken ist:). Der Keller kann auch noch durch eine andere Tuer betreten werden. Man muss nicht durch das Schlafzimmer durch:).

This photo shows you the stairs to the basement. The door leads you to the backyard. Downstairs left is where you get to the master bedroom which is still a mess and is not really something you should look at right now. But at least Duane put up our bed. These stairs are the reason why I prefer the air mattress at 4 am:). Through our bedroom you get to our bathroom and through there to the basement where the washer and dryer is at AND lots and lots of stuff that needs to get unpacked.
Downstairs and right you can also get to the basement. You don't have to go through our bedroom to get there.
