Dieses mal ging es nach West Virginia um in der Kirche an einer Feier fuer Pap teilzunehmen. Ihm wurde dort fuer sein grosses Engagement gedankt und er wusste von nichts. Es war fuer ihn eine grosse Ueberraschung, die samstags begann, als wir vor der Farm ankamen:). Duanes Schwester Michelle war aus Michigan angereist...zusammen mit ihrem Enkelkind Cody.

This time we went to West Virginia to the church where they had a party for Pap. They wanted to thank him for all the things he had done for the church and the people over the years and he had no idea it would happen. It was a big surprise for him also when we arrived at the farm:). Duane's sister Michelle came all the way down from Michigan...with her grandson Cody.

Es war ein schoener Gottesdienst und die anschliessende Feier war sehr schoen und vor allem LECKER!! Jedes Gemeindemitglied brachte etwas fuer das Buffet mit und es gab super leckere Sachen. Auch der Nachtisch war super. Wir verbrachten ein paar Stunden dort und anschliessend ging es wieder zurueck auf die Farm wo wir noch ein bissl die Zeit miteinander geniessen wollten.

Church was really nice and the party afterwards was really good and YUMMY!! Everybody brought something to add to the buffet and it was really good. Even all the desserts were just great. We spent a couple hours there before we went back to the farm where we spent more time together.

Auch Pap hatte wieder das Vergnuegen, dass Klara zu ihm auf den Schoss ging. Die beiden hatten mit dem Bluemchen ziemlich viel Spass.
Pap was lucky and happy because Klara got back on his lap. Both had lots of fun with that little flower.

Gabriel schiesst! / Gabriel is shooting!

Der Hoehepunkt fuer Gabriel an diesem Wochenende! Er durfte tatsaechlich dieses Gewehr abfeuern. Das Ziel war fuers erste mal ein Baum, aber das war schon was. Sieht aber auch wirklich gut aus oder:)?

The highlight for Gabriel this weekend!! He actually shot this gun. The goal was a tree for this time but that was something. Looks really good doesn't it?:)

Natuerlich mussten wir auch auf der Farm von etwas leben:) An einem Abend gab es dann leckeres Huehnchen. Wie man hier sieht, hat es auch Klara geschmeckt. Wobei sie mehr Spass an den Knochen hatte.

Of course we had to live from something on the farm:). One evening we had chicken. As you can see even Klara liked it. But we think she enjoyed the bones much better.

Die kleine Maus weiss ganz genau, wie sie sich am besten in Szene zu setzen hat, damit auch wirklich jeder zuschaut:).
