Geburtstagskuchen fuer Darren/ Birthday Cake for Darren
Freitag bekamen wir Besuch. Duane's Freund Darren aus Illinois und Freundin Lizzy waren hier.
Es war auch gleichzeitig Darren's Geburtstag und wir hatten fuer ihn natuerlich einen Kuchen und Eis besorgt.
Wir haben uns wirklich sehr gefreut, dass die beiden noch vor unserer Abreise kommen konnten. Schon das ganze Jahr das wir hier sind hatten sie es vor und es war ein schoenes kurzes Wochenende mit den beiden.
Besonders Duane hat sich gefreut seinen alten Freund aus Armee Zeiten wiederzusehen.
Friday we got visitors. Duane's friend Darren and his girlfriend Lizzy from Illinois came to see us. It also was Darren's Birthday and we had cake and ice-cream ready for him. We were really happy to have them both here and we were glad they made it before we are leaving. It was a great and very nice time. I think especially Duane enjoyed having his friends here. They know each other from the Army - so a long time ago:-).
